How To Measure Your Dog’s Neck Properly for Prong Collars

Measure your dog’s neck directly under the chin and up around the back of the ears. Location on the neck should be above where your pet’s regular buckle collar sits. Measure for a snug but not tight fit. When the collar is on the dog, you should be able to insert your little finger between a prong and the skin.
